Vivian Lane was created by our founder, who like many other women found the marketplace lacking high quality, classic pieces at an affordable price. Stuck with a closet full of minimally worn clothing,  she decided to create a collection of the effortless, timeless dresses (and skirts!) that were missing from her own closet. Drawing on her experience in both investment banking and the fashion industry, she focused on creating garments that were made of high quality fabrics crafted by skilled technicians in the United States. Our goal was to create a brand with reliable, classic designs that were simultaneously comfortable and elegant for a modern lifestyle.
